# Are my investments sustainable?

All Curvo portfolios are built from index funds that follow environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. They exclude companies involved in activities that are harmful to people or the planet. Depending on the fund, this includes:
* fossil fuels (oil, gas and coal) and nuclear power
* weapons: not only nuclear and other controversial weapons, but also conventional military weapons and civilian firearms
* tobacco, alcohol, gambling and adult entertainment
* companies that breach international standards such as the UN Global Compact
