How can I share my portfolio?
You can give someone else read-only access to one of your Curvo portfolios. For example:
- Your partner, when the portfolio is meant for both of you.
- Your partner, so they can keep an eye on a portfolio you're building for your child's future.
- An accountant or financial adviser you've asked to help track your investments.
- A close family member, such as a sibling, who's helping you stay on track with your savings goals.
These are just a few examples. Feel free to use it however makes sense for you.
What a viewer can and can't do
A viewer can:
- Track the evolution of your portfolio.
- View future projections.
A viewer cannot:
- Withdraw or deposit.
- Access your bank account information.
- Change your monthly contribution.
- View your documents.
Before you start
The person you want to share with needs their own Curvo portfolio first. They'll need to give you their viewer code, which they can find on the Account tab under Sharing.
How it works
How to share a portfolio
- Open the portfolio you want to share.
- Tap Viewers in the portfolio options.
- Tap Add viewer.
- Enter the other person's viewer code and tap Add viewer.
They'll now see your portfolio under Shared with you in their Sharing screen.
How to remove a viewer
If you no longer want someone to see your portfolio:
- Open the portfolio.
- Tap Viewers.
- Tap the viewer you want to remove.
- Tap Remove and confirm.
How to leave a shared portfolio
If someone has shared a portfolio with you and you want to stop seeing it:
- Go to the Account tab and tap Sharing.
- Find the portfolio under Shared with you.
- Tap Leave and confirm.
The owner of the portfolio can also remove you at any time.
Limitations today
- The person you want to share with needs to already have a Curvo portfolio. We're working on removing this requirement.
- Sharing a portfolio doesn't change who legally owns it. Even if you share your portfolio with your partner, it stays in your name. We don't offer true joint accounts or children's portfolios yet.
