# iShares Euro Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index Fund

This fund follows the **Bloomberg Barclays Euro Government Inflation-Linked Bond index**. 

Inflation-linked government bonds are a special type of bond that protects against rising inflation. In Europe, only 4 European countries issue these bonds: France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
